Expanding on my idea

My 3D objects are going to be in a similar style to these, but im going to have just a couple.

This is an advert by Blue Zoo, its about product placement, im going to have my sculpture like the P with and have 3D objects around it.

After looking at my initial piece of the mother figure, it didnt really send across the message i wanted to deliver so i introduced the father figure, a man who doesnt care about his wife and child, for e.g his head facing the other way hands together, to explain the message more i want to add 3D elements that sit around them.

After a lot of thinking and experiments...

After experimenting in illustrator with letters i wasnt really getting anywhere, so i decided to just cut them out of card and play with the letter's which i found easier,

Out of the word parent i have created a pregnant woman holding her stomach, she is meant to be sad which is why her heads tilted and she's on her knees.

The colour is blue because blue is the colour of trust, being a single parent she and her baby have trust in one another to help each other out.

Trying to create a Parent shape...

This was a logo i created for folio, the shapes of the look like people, its inspired to make a shape out of my letters, rather than jus a pile of letters. Here i have tried giving it arms n a bit more of a shape,

They need more developing to give it a recognisable shape.

Mother and Father Logo

My Mother and Father logo, the shape is meant to be like a heart and the mother and father are separating but the child which is the tie is holding them together, like how they say its for the kids lol

An idea

A quick sketch to show how it could look, but how do i make it look as if it free standing?

Vault 49

This is how i want to create my letters, i want to use foam board to give them a good size, then paint them and start sticking and adding around my sculpture.

Craig Ward

I like the way he has ink coming of the type, after i create my 3D sculpture i want to add around it to make it more interesting.

Inspiration...

After seeing this Piece it has inspired me to create my own 3D sculpture using my type and use the word parent(s)

Bens experiment

Here Ben has experimented with one of letters, his experiments made me think and have given me ideas for my own sculpture.

Origami anyone?

Another Pdf...

How to display my finished Piece?

These are off Virus Fonts from Barnbrook, he has created PDF's that come with the type, how do i display mine?

My finished Font

This is it

Developing further letters

This is some of my development, i have one for every letter but i think you get the message, after this i started to mac my letters.

Introducing a style

I was still trying out letters when i saw the UCA logo and i really like the type so i used theres as a guideline and started to get my style across such as the bauhaus type, i started to adapt my letter , try different things and see which one worked, once i done that....
I started on my letters and developing them, i done this for every letter.

Making a start

These are my first batch of idea's , i havent introduced my style but started to get a theme of the look of my type.

Style?

I saw this piece on creaticca, and i really like the style, i like the roundness of the shapes which make it look modern,

This is the bauhaus font, i like the roundness and the simplicity of it, also on the shapes such as the B how its not fully joined gives it that separate look im going for.

Getting Somewhere...

I saw this logo and really liked the R, it looks half done but still recognise it, this is exactly something i want to do.

Research

I want to try and show a developing font, So far here
are some idea's...

Kyle Cooper's Logo for his site, i like the way on the
P he has part of it missing, but i don't like the lines tha
t connect the O and E, i would want to us
e my type later on, this is just for a logo,

Here is some of Si Scotts type, i like the way he has missed out parts to give it this interesting look, this is the direction i want to go in.
