The Final Sculptures...Ready for paint

The mother sculpture

The father sculpture

...

This is the four letters stuck together, ready to be sanded down to create neater edges.

...

I then added double sided tape in order to stick on more letters to create some volume.

Here is the cut out.

...

I then outlined it with pencil and started to cut out the letter. I done this for every letter, in total 48 letters.

Here i have placed the cut out over the foam board

Step by Step

I then cut out the letter to give me a shape for me to later transfer to the foamboard

Here is my letter printed on A4 (left) because i coudnt get hold of an A3 one, so i didnt really make a start on my piece for a while, i then thought of enlarging it on the photocopier and then made it A3 (right)
